ServiceOS Text Message Terms

Effective and last updated: October 2, 2026

These terms cover the text messages sent by ServiceOS, the workplace operations platform operated by Axiom Board Group LLC ("Axiom"), to employees of the businesses that use it. They are part of the ServiceOS Terms of Service.

1. Program description

ServiceOS sends work notifications by text to employees who have opted in themselves. They are about the recipient's own work and their ServiceOS account, for example: scheduled safety toolbox talks and safety notices; training, certification, license and document deadlines; tasks, approvals and documents waiting for them; and notices about their account. Each message names the employer it is sent for. These are operational messages about the recipient's own work. ServiceOS does not send marketing or promotional text messages.

2. How to opt in

Text messages are off until you turn them on. To opt in, sign in to ServiceOS, open My profile, enter your mobile number under Text reminders, and tick the box next to this statement (shown with your employer's name):

"Text me work notifications from Acme Electric through ServiceOS, such as reminders, safety notices, deadlines, and tasks or documents that need my attention. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of employment."

The box is never ticked for you, and nobody else, including your employer and Axiom, can opt you in. We record the number, the time, and the exact wording you agreed to. After you opt in, you receive this confirmation:

"ServiceOS: You're signed up for work notifications from Acme Electric via ServiceOS. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."

The opt-in screen, before and after submitting, is shown at serviceos.axiomboardgroup.com/legal/sms-opt-in.

Opting in is optional and is not a condition of employment or of using ServiceOS. Reminders still appear in ServiceOS and, where your employer uses them, by email.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies with your schedule and your employer's settings, typically a few messages a week. Scheduled reminders are sent only between 8 AM and 8 PM in your employer's time zone; a message that answers something you just did, such as the opt-in confirmation, arrives right away.

4. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

5. Opt out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any ServiceOS text, or by turning text reminders off on My profile. After you reply STOP you receive one final message:

"You're unsubscribed from ServiceOS texts and will get no more messages. Reply START to resubscribe."

and no more texts unless you opt in again. Reply START to resubscribe. STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT all work.

6. Help

Reply HELP to any ServiceOS text for help:

"ServiceOS work notifications by Axiom Board Group. Help: [email protected]. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

You can also email [email protected].

7. Data sharing

Mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in information are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and message content are shared only with the service providers that deliver the messages (Twilio, and the mobile carriers), as described in the ServiceOS Privacy Policy at serviceos.axiomboardgroup.com/legal/privacy.

8. Carrier disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page. Continuing to receive messages after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
